Opinion: Christians in Muslim Lands: Unprotected and Unnoticed
This past weekend, an estimated 1,000 Coptic Christians gathered in Los Angeles to protest the killings of fellow Copts in Egypt a few days earlier.
According to one protester, “there is no protection for Christians in Egypt.”
Judging by the coverage, the media isn’t helping matters.

Egypt: Christmas declared a national holiday in Egypt, for the first time
President Mubarak of Egypt has declared Christmas Day a National Holiday for the first time.
Coptic Christians represent ten percent of the population of Egypt. They celebrate Christmas on January 7 and from 2003, this date will be an official public holiday.
