27% of Nazareth Baptist School Graduates in 2011 considered The ministry of Education recently sent schools in Israel the summary of their Matriculation exams results for 2011.
According to the results sent to Nazareth Baptist School (NBS) the percentage of those considered "excellent"* graduates in NBS for that year is 27.14%. In 2010 it was 24.47% and in 2009 it was 22.08%.
The Ministry of Education does not release comparative information between the schools but this percentage is no doubt one of the highest in the whole country. In 2008 the ministry of education released information about the schools with the highest percentage and NBS was ranked then in the 4th place in the whole country when 29% of its graduates were defined as "Excellent". Since then the ministry of Education has stopped releasing such comparative information to the public.
It is worth noting that NBS is a K-12 school and thus not a selective one as it admits students to KG without an exam. The other schools that appeared in the 2008 list were all selective high schools that selected students to the 9th grade after testing them.
*An "excellent graduate" according to the ministry of Education’s criteria is a graduate that completed his/her studies with an average of 95% with a minimum of 25 matriculation units or an average of 90% with a minimum of 30 units (it should include 5 units In each English and Mathematics).
