3,500 Believers gather near the sea of Galilee
3,500 Believers gather near the sea of Galilee Thousands of believers took part in a conference that was sponsored by "The Watchman International" which is a ministry aimed at helping churches unite in prayer for restoration, revival and spiritual awakening. The ministry is based in Pensacola, FL. The ministry also inspires Christians to pray for events around the world, especially Israel. It has an office in Israel that is headed by Lars Enarson, founder of The Watchman International. Lars is originally from Sweden and lives in Katsrin in the Golan Heights.

Each family to partcipate was asked to pay a symbolic amount of 60 Shekels (14 USD) for 4 days including three meals in one of Tiberius Five Star Hotels. The rest of the cost was covered by The Watchman Ministry and is estimated with at least a Million Dollar. In a smaller event held last year with 1,500 participants, The Watchman International invested $500,000 to pay the expenses for the Kfar Hamakabia conference. Four of Tiberias hotels were packed by participants, who came from all around the country, Israeli Jews, Russian Jews, Ethiopian Jews, Arab believers, Lebanese believers and western Christians all together. Because of the low cost of participating in the conference, the conference was overbooked, and many people were left without rooms and had to wait many hours until rooms have been arranged for all.

A big tent was established in Kibbutz Ginnosar near the Sea of Galilee for the four day event. This is the same place where Jesus Healed the sick(Matthew 14:34). The title of the conference was "Let the Thirsty Come".
