Daughter of Christian Pastor killed in Haifa Blast

Abigail Litle was traveling yesterday around noon from the Reali School on Mount Carmel, where she studied at the 8-th grade, to the home of a friend. Her mother Heidi Litle knew about the blast from a friend that called her. "Slowly, Slowly, we realized that she was dead".

Litle family came to Israel 14 years ago, from New Hemisphere when Abigail was 7 month old. Abigail was born in Lebanon, NH. "We are not Jewish", the mother says in Hebrew. They came to Haifa, where the father Philip D. Litle went to school at the Technion, Israel's Institute of Technology. Later on, he became a a representative of the Baptist church in Israel and decided to live in Israel.

Josiah, who is 15 years old said about his sister that she was a very creative girl. She loved people, and loved nature as well. She loved God very much and she knew He loved her too, Josiah told Haaretz.

As an American teenager living in Israel, Abigail Litle wanted to help bring Jews and Arabs together, joining a school group that aimed to bridge a divide worsened by more than two years of Palestinian-Israeli violence.

"Come and See" Editor adds that Funeral will take place on the coming Sunday, March 09 at 12:00, at the Messianic cemetery at the southern entrance to Haifa. Two buses will leave from Beit Eliahu congregation, 43 Meir street, and The Litle's place at 15 Raul Wallenberg street, Ramat Eshkol.
