    Nazareth Village Celebrates Christmas
Nazareth Village Celebrates Christmas Nazareth Village is celebrating Advent this year by presenting its second annual recreation of the Nativity story in daily evening tours. During these evening tours, guests walk by torchlight as they follow Joseph and Mary on the donkey and hear Scriptures passages recounting the Christmas story. At the sheepfold a living manger scene culminates the experience.

The tours began on the 14th December, with a potential of three each tours each evening. Danish, English, Spanish, Lebanese, Palestinian and Israelis guests participated in the first tours. The tours will run until January 5.

Part of the promotional effort included distribution of leaflets by the villagers in costume. Car owners rolled down their windows, bus drivers opened their doors, people smiled and they walked out their way in order to receive the information. One friend of the village called to say, ?This was probably the happiest event of the week in downtown Nazareth!?

Nazareth Village brings to life a farm and Galilean village, recreating Nazareth as it was 2,000 years ago. This year, they released special Christmas cards" Our Light Collection" - Most of the cards were sold through the web site.
