Israeli cable television HOT is planning to drop a major Christian TV network which runs missionary advertisements directed at Jews. The move has prompted threats of legal action by the station's representatives.
The decision by the Hot Cable TV to halt the broadcasts of the Daystar TV network is pending the authorization of the Israeli Council for Cable TV and Satellite Broadcasting.

Thousands of women watch the premier showings of Magdalena Film in Galilee. The film, produced by Life Agape (Campus Crusade for Christ) and targets women. It talks about the life of Jesus concentrating on several encounters of Jesus with women.
Mrs. Alia Grayeb, a teacher on pension and who was among the 1000 women watching the film in Nazareth told "Come and See” that the movie was very touching and it touched her - like it did to many other women who sat beside her who were crying during the Film. "I am very proud of Jesus Christ who dealt with women in respect, released them from fear and gave them the privilege to be the first one to see Him after the resurrection"

Mysterious photographs from the 1970s are to be brought as evidence to prove that the so-called ossuary of James, the brother of Jesus, is authentic. They are to be presented by attorneys for Oded Golan, the antiquities dealer charged with forging the item, which when it was made public, was dubbed "the most important archaeological discovery from the beginnings of Christianity."
The photographs, copies of which have reached Haaretz, have already been examined by an American expert and are to be submitted as evidence in court. But they do not remove doubts about the item, which touched off a storm in the archaeological world.
