we quickly recognized that our unique personal narratives were completely dissimilar, having been shaped by culture, history, politics, and theology. As an Israeli Messianic Jew, I found it to be emotionally draining.

As non-Jews living in Israel, we are faced with a discriminatory system that favors Jews. Furthermore, our connection to the Palestinian people puts us in a questioned position to the Jewish citizens, and we are perceived as traitors or potential traitors.

Christian "Zionist" organizations provide large numbers of volunteers for farmers in settlements, including in illegal outposts (settlements that are illegal under Israeli law, too). Within Israel, the Christian "Zionist" lobby works closely with IDF units and supports missionary organizations, anti-abortion non-profits, anti-gay action, and movements working to establish the Third Temple on the Temple Mount with the aim of sparking war with global Islam.

“Reconciliation” as envisaged by Lausanne is racist in essence, because it assumes that Israeli Jews and Palestinian Christians are not only so blinded by hatred and prejudice that they are incapable of being friends, but also that the only way that they can befriend each other is if they are “moderated” by a white, Western Christian.

We are put in a serious critical challenge- either to close down because parents will not be able to pay the full tuition as we cease to get the government funds. The other option will be that we yield to the ministry of education that will take over our schools and thus risk not only our schools but our whole identity and message.

"When Christians, as individuals or organizations, call on Messianic Jews or Palestinian Christians, with pressure or inducements, to break their fellowship in Christ by separating from each other, this is not only unwelcome outside interference in their pain, but must be denounced as sin."
